Lots of happy children at the Greenway Orchard Easter treat and nature hunt
Over 35 children came to our first Easter Treat and Nature Scavenger hunt at the Greenway Orchard.
Children found flowers, bugs, birds and all sorts as well as a voucher for the beautiful Easter eggs and sweets from Plaistow’s Cali Candy shop.
Parents joined in too and were able to meet the Green Gym Orchard volunteers and at least 2 have signed up for volunteering! Definitely an event to repeat!
New City Guide Dogs Fundraiser

New City Family centre celebrated with tea and cake and by gathering friends & family to host a tea party in aid of ‘Guide Dogs’.

The family centre received a visit from Liam Archer and his Guide Dog – Usher. Liam allowed attendee’s to pet Usher as you would not normally distract a service dog. The Fundraising continued after school with cakes being sold and a Guess the dog’s name competition.

New City were delighted to raise over £250 for this worthwhile cause.
