Eid al-Adha
Eid al-Adha is an important festival for Muslim’s, it is held each year to mark the end of Hajj.
The hajj is a pilgrimage that all able Muslims must perform once in their lifetime.
Each year, two million Muslims travel to Mecca, Saudi Arabia, to perform the hajj.
The festival begins on the tenth day of Dhu’l-Hijja, the Islamic calendar’s final month.
Muslims all over the world celebrate Eid al-Adha by gathering with friends and family and exchanging gifts.
Eid Mubarak to all those celebrating!
